Saturday, February 11th, 2006

From the OpenRaw website: “OpenRAW is a Working Group of photographers and other people interested in advocating the open documentation of digital camera RAW files.”
Basically they are a group of concerned photographers who believe that whatever your digital camera produces is your digital negative and you should have completely ownership and control of the data […]

D100

Thursday, November 3rd, 2005

Hubert, isnt it pretty crazy to think that the Nikon D100 first became available in 2002?
I am totally in love with mine. I am eyeing the D200 with great interest, but right now I have really no reason to upgrade yet, this is a lovely camera. I just went past 20000 shots.. crazy..

Summit Wrap-Up

The Summit is over, here’s a group photo of everyone present.

Click the image for a larger version.
For those interested, the lens I used is a Sigma 10-20mm wideangle zoom - highly recommended if you ask me..

On a related note, looks like I have shot a bit over 3 gigabytes of photos while in here.. Of course the art of appearing as a good photographer involves only showing you the one above

Photographic Fun

Friday, October 8th, 2004

We went to Calumet Photo today, and Jakub got a very nice lens, a Sigma 12-24 mm wideangle - it feels great, the wide field of view is just something one has to see to undestand.
And it makes him look very “pro” without a doubt
