Learning to deb
So I’m sitting at the University of Helsinki CS department again, been a while

This time it’s a Debian packaging school organized by Lars Wirzenius - I figured this will be an useful skill to learn since I deal with themes, icons etc that also need to be packaged..

if you have an online readable (or better yet, downloadable) version of those lectures, i think they’d be quite useful to go through –that’s if you feel like releasing them.

You should ask Lars, really. His blog states:
“Slides and stuff will probably be published afterwards. Monitor Lars’s web log for announcements.”

You got a photo of my good side (the back of my head)… By the way, if you see Marius, thank him for volunteering to talk about Maemo. Not many (non-Nokia) Maemo people appeared and even I hadn’t had time to test maemo 2 yet, so the talks weren’t that beneficial — but I guess you can’t win every time.
Juanjo, traversing_mind: the slides are available, see here http://liw.iki.fi/liw/debian/school.html. Unfortunately my attempts to get the lecture part on video weren’t successful.
