Recreation

Went skeet shooting with the folks of Novell Finland yesterday. I had not really touched a gun for ages, but it was pretty much fun - a lot similar to shooting with a camera actually. Except that with a camera you dont end up with a dead animal or a hole in the target if you succeed :-)

I bet it would be beneficial for a sports photographer or a photojournalist to shoot those orange clay frisbees as a hobby. It really has the same elements as trying to frame a photo of a moving subject with a long telephoto lens..

    Go the whole ten yards!!! Get a photo of the target (orange clay frisbees) being HIT!!!
    Use digital camera not film as you may well run out by the time you get it right.

    Who says I didnt try? :-) It’s just darn hard, even harder than with the gun I think.. But yea. Would be cool to get such a photo.
