You just open the .zip file, extract the contents to your wordpress directory, backup wp-layout.css and rename the .css file in the .zip to wp-layout.css. It only takes 30 seconds and the results are <a href="http://www.philandlyndel.com/john/">great</a>. For more style with little (read: no) fuss, try Alex King’s WordPress Styles Competition.
